Auburn's Jeremy Johnson starts at quarterback vs. Alabama
Auburn will start Jeremy Johnson at quarterback Saturday when the Tigers face Alabama in the Iron Bowl.
Sean White remains out of the lineup with a shoulder injury.
"There's no fear in me nor the team. It's just another game, another opportunity to shock the world," Johnson told Brandon Marcello of 247Sports.
The senior completed 14-of-19 for 147 yards and one touchdown last week against Alabama A&M in a 55-0 victory. He also rushed six times for 42 yards and two scores.
"He's the most experienced guy we've got. He's got a lot of experience and he knows the offense and he made some good throws. He made some good plays with his feet and most importantly, he protected the football," coach Gus Malzahn told James Crepea of AL.com.
The Tigers have lost six of their last eight to the Crimson Tide.
