Colorado's Mike MacIntyre to buy bowl tickets for former players
Mike MacIntyre has made the same promise to each of his Colorado players every season: when the Buffaloes finally return to a bowl, he'll buy their ticket to the game.
After winning just two conference games in his first three seasons at the helm, MacIntyre led Colorado to a South Division title and a berth in the Conference Championship game in 2016, finishing the season with a 10-3 record (8-1 in conference). Finally, it was time to make good on that promise:

This is not the first time MacIntyre has come through on a promise this season.
When Colorado officially became bowl eligible by winning their sixth game of the season on Oct. 22, the coach treated the team to In-N-Out Burger following the victory, as he said he would.
Colorado will face Oklahoma State in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 29, the Buffaloes' first bowl game since losing to Alabama in the 2007 Independence Bowl.
