Virginia Tech's Isaiah Ford to enter NFL draft

Virginia Tech wide receiver Isaiah Ford announced Monday he'll forgo his senior year in favor of entering the 2017 NFL Draft.
Ford is fresh off completing his second consecutive 1,000-yard campaign, and he's posted 2,258 yards and 18 touchdowns over the last two seasons.

The ACC's fourth-leading receiver in 2016 is widely projected as a mid-round selection in the NFL draft.
The junior caught five passes for 56 yards in the Hokies' Belk Bowl victory over Arkansas on Dec. 29 in what'll go down as his final collegiate contest.
