USC's Adoree' Jackson suffers ankle injury in Rose Bowl
USC won the Rose Bowl, but lost arguably its best player.
Trojans cornerback Adoree' Jackson left the contest against Penn State and did not return after suffering an ankle injury while being tackled on a kick return. Jackson's leg got caught underneath him while going to the ground.

The explosive junior recorded four interceptions and 51 tackles this season. He also ran back two kickoffs for touchdowns in 2016.
Jackson's injury could have ramifications beyond this contest, as the corner was tabbed by some to be a first-round pick in this spring's NFL entry draft. Should the ailment be serious, it could cause Jackson to plummet down draft boards.
Though the corner seemed optimistic afterwards that the injury isn't significant.
Adoree Jackson said he injured his ankle but "if we had a game tomorrow I'd be suited up & ready."
