Texas Tech dismisses Bronson Boyd days after he joins team

Texas Tech dismissed freshman wide receiver Bronson Boyd just days after he enrolled in the university and joined the team, the school confirmed to Jake Trotter of ESPN.

Boyd, a four-star recruit in the 2017 class and the 62nd-best wide receiver, according to ESPN, was one of 12 early enrollees eligible to participate in spring camp.

No reason was given for the dismissal.
