Projected No. 1 pick Garrett begs Cowboys to move up to draft him
Myles Garrett isn't like other projected first overall draft picks.
The standout defensive end from Texas A&M is choosing not to attend the 2017 NFL Draft and he's also hoping to pick his team.
The Cleveland Browns own the No. 1 overall pick, but Garrett is hoping another team will trade up high enough to take him.
"I'm speaking to you, Jerry," Garrett said in an ESPN video. "Mr. (Jason) Garrett, make it happen. Dak Prescott is leading our team right now. I need you to take Tony Romo, take a couple picks, and give them to Cleveland so you can pick me up, please. I'd love to play in Dallas. Let's make it happen."
It's not quite Eli Manning refusing to play in San Diego, but it's close.
ESPN later noted that the footage was filmed in December and Garrett was asked by a producer to have fun with it.
