The Kansas City, Mo., native started seven games in 2016 before being benched due to ineffectiveness. He threw for 2,755 yards with 14 touchdowns and 19 interceptions in his Jayhawks career.
Cozart, who's headed into his fifth season, has graduated from Kansas and will be eligible to suit up for his new program immediately.
