Ex-Baylor TE Tre'Von Armstead arrested for sexual assault
Former Baylor tight end Tre'Von Armstead was arrested Wednesday over a sexual assault allegation stemming from a 2013 incident in Waco, Texas.
It's the second time Armstead has been arrested in as many weeks. He was arrested March 13 following a physical altercation with a woman in Las Vegas. The former pass-catcher went on to fight police, and was charged with domestic violence battery, resisting a public officer, and tampering with a police vehicle.
Armstead is being held in custody on a $150,000 bond, a Jefferson County Sheriff's Office official confirmed to ESPN's Paula Lavigne and Mark Schlabach.
The Port Arthur, Texas native played for Baylor from 2014-15, recording five receptions for 62 yards and one touchdown. He was dismissed from the program for a violation of team rules in 2015.
