Dantonio 'extremely concerned' about allegations against players
Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio spoke to reporters Tuesday regarding a sexual assault investigation into three of his players and noted it was "something we're extremely concerned about."
Dantonio did not specify what players were involved, saying he and the university have agreed not to.
"We always try to come before people and give honest and transparent questions as best we can," Dantonio said, according to Dan Murphy of ESPN. "I want to emphasize 'as best we can' relative to everybody involved in this situation."
Michigan State police requested arrest warrants in February after an investigation into an alleged sexual assault from January. The three players were ultimately suspended by the team along with a football staff member.
Prosecutors haven't decided whether any criminal charges will be filed.
The Spartans play their spring game Saturday.
