Yup.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback AJ McCarron is opening a "build-your-won-sushi" bar in Tuscaloosa, Ala., unsurprisingly the first of its kind in the city that hosts the Crimson Tide.

The three-time NCAA national champion is giving back to the community that hosted him as a collegiate athlete along with co-owner and operator Pete Zimmer, opening "Ajian Sushi."

Zimmer is a contact of fellow Bengals player Michael Johnson and asked the defensive end if McCarron would be interested in co-owning his restaurant venture, knowing the quarterback's connection to the state of Alabama.

"I ran into Michael while I was in Cincinnati, and he was really enthusiastic about my idea for the restaurant," Zimmer told Christina Ausley of Alabama Crimson White. "So I asked if he thought AJ might be interested in co-owning the place with me, and he went on to mention it to AJ at practice.

"The next day I had a text from AJ that said 'I'm in, let's do this.'"

Johnson is also an investor in the venture.

The restaurant is scheduled to open June 1.
