4-star ATH Amari Burney commits to Florida

Florida has added some versatility to its program with the addition of Amari Burney.

The four-star athlete announced his commitment to the Gators on Thursday after also being pursued by Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, and several other top-tier programs.

Burney is ranked 40th on the ESPN 300 and sixth at the athlete position. As a Florida native, Burney will be staying close to home.

The commitment gives head coach Jim McElwain his fourth four-star recruit for the 2018 class.
