Nebraska's Keyshawn Johnson Jr. cited for marijuana possession

Nebraska wideout Keyshawn Johnson Jr. was cited Friday on suspicion of possession of more than one ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a police report obtained by Mara Klecker of the Omaha World-Herald.

Johnson Jr., a freshman, is the son of former NFL and USC star Keyshawn Johnson, who also played wide receiver.

"Head coach Mike Riley and the athletics department are aware of the incident involving Keyshawn Johnson Jr.," the Cornhuskers said in a statement. "We will have no additional comment until we have all information regarding this matter."

Johnson Jr. was a four-star recruit in the class of 2017 and is expected to battle for playing time immediately.
