Kent State freshman Tyler Heintz dies following conditioning drills

Kent State freshman offensive lineman Tyler Heintz died Tuesday after being transported to a local hospital following conditioning drills, according to an official statement from the university.
"Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with Tyler's family and friends, as well as coach Haynes and the team, our athletics staff, and our student-athletes," the statement read.
An incoming freshman, Heintz was set to study marketing and entrepreneurship.
A cause of death has yet to be determined.
