Former Notre Dame safety Max Redfield, who was dismissed last summer following a gun- and drug-related arrest, will finish his career at Division II school Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Redfield, who has NFL talent but was unable to stay out of trouble off the field at Notre Dame, believes he'll be one of the top draft-eligible safeties next year.
"I obviously expect myself to have the best year of my life and have a chance to go in the first round," he told Dan Albano of the Orange County Register.
Redfield was one of Notre Dame's top tacklers during his three years there, but fell off the radar after getting booted off the team weeks before the season opener.
