Never short on passion, Hall of Famer Michael Irvin delivered the goods once again Saturday while explaining why recruits should prefer his alma mater, Miami, over other colleges.
Irvin gave his impassioned spiel to reporters at the Hurricanes' Paradise Camp, a recruiting event hosted by legends of the program.

He also offered props to current Miami wideout Ahmmon Richards, a returning sophomore who broke Irvin's 31-year-old freshman record for receiving yards last season.
"I love it. I love it. I hear people on Twitter all the time hitting me, saying, 'He's first round, he's first round, he's first round,' and 'Ahmmon Richards owns the record here' ..." Irvin said.
"I'm so proud of him."
