Swinney: 'No question' Kelly Bryant tops QB depth chart

Clemson hasn't officially named a starting quarterback for its season opener, but it sure seems like it's Kelly Bryant's job to lose.
Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney noted in April if the season started then Bryant would have been the starter, and he made similar comments Tuesday.
Swinney will be choosing between Bryant and Hunter Johnson, who was ranked as the top pocket passer in the 2017 class. Bryant, on the otherhand, is a dual-threat and had the benefit of learning the offense behind Deshaun Watson during the past two seasons.
Whoever eventually claims the job will have big shoes to fill, after Watson led the team to national championship in 2016 and cemented his place as one of the program's all-time great pivots.
