Kearis Jackson will be playing his college ball close to home.
The four-star receiver announced his commitment to Georgia with a video for SEC Country. Jackson is a Georgia native who ranks as the fifth-overall player from the state and the fourth-ranked player at his position, according to the ESPN 300.
A highly coveted recruit, Jackson chose the Bulldogs over Alabama, however he was also being pursued by Florida State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and several others.
Jackson has the potential to form a potent combination with quarterback Jacob Eason next season.
