NC State defensive end Bradley Chubb was quick to apologize for his actions at the end of his team's upset win over Florida State.
Chubb was seen sprinting toward the Seminoles' midfield logo and then appeared to spit on the emblem in the final seconds of NC State's six-point upset of the No. 12 team in the nation.
After having some time to collect his thoughts and possibly speak with coaches and the school's PR reps, Chubbs owned up to his actions.
"I want to apologize for my actions after the game today … I let my emotions get the best of me. I have the utmost respect for Coach Fisher and Florida State," said Chubbs, according to the team.
