Texas' Buechele to start vs. Baylor as Ehlinger recovers from head injury

Texas will start Shane Buechele at quarterback Saturday versus Baylor while Sam Ehlinger recovers from a head injury, head coach Tom Herman told reporters Thursday, according to Brian Davis of the Austin American Statesman.

Ehlinger has been held out of practice all week after being placed in the concussion protocol Monday. The freshman took over the starting job from Buechele early in the season.

Buechele, a sophomore, has thrown for 557 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in three appearances this season.
