West Virginia quarterback Will Grier was taken to the locker room Saturday versus Texas after suffering a gruesome finger injury.
The quarterback lunged for a touchdown in the first quarter of Saturday's contest and was hit at the goal line. The ball came loose, resulting in a touchback.
Grier immediately held his throwing hand in the air after the tackle, with his right middle finger not looking quite right.
