Tennessee continues to flail during their head coaching search.
After the school pulled out of an agreement to hire Greg Schiano, Tennessee contacted Duke head coach David Cutcliffe about its vacancy, according to ESPN's Chris Low.
Cutcliffe reportedly turned down the offer, however, and expressed that he plans to remain at Duke for the remainder of his coaching career.

Since being hired in 2008, Cutcliffe has posted a cumulative 58-67 record, while Duke remains bowl eligible for the fifth time in six seasons.
Tennessee fired Butch Jones on Nov. 12 and named Brady Hoke as the interim head coach.
