Scott Frost will have to find a new starting quarterback for his first season as head coach at Nebraska, as junior pivot Tanner Lee announced Thursday that he's decided to enter the 2018 NFL Draft.
"I cannot thank Husker Nation enough for making it so special," Lee said in a statement. "I will be a Husker for life. I want to wish Coach Frost and his staff the best of luck, Nebraska is in great hands."
This season was Lee's first in a Huskers uniform after sitting out the entire 2016 campaign following a transfer from Tulane, where he spent the previous two years of his college career.
In 12 games for the Huskers, Lee threw for a career-high 3,143 yards, coupled with 23 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
