All-American Shaquem Griffin not invited to combine
Second-team All-American linebacker Shaquem Griffin, regarded as one of the top defenders in the nation at UCF despite an amputated left hand, wasn't invited to the NFL combine.
Griffin posted 62 tackles with 5.5 sacks en route to national honors in 2017, after being named the American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2016.
The 6-foot-1, 223-pounder is widely considered a legitimate NFL prospect. He's the twin brother of Seattle Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin, a third-round pick last year.
Sometimes those running the Combine absolutely confuse me. You’d think the endeavor is created for a closer look at a prospect exactly like this kid. https://t.co/YV4TK7zON4

The college standout did receive an invite to the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
