Kansas State promotes Andre Coleman to offensive coordinator

Kansas State's vacancy at offensive coordinator has been filled, as head coach Bill Snyder announced Wednesday that wide receivers coach Andre Coleman has been promoted to the role.

Coleman suited up for the Wildcats as a wide receiver from 1990-93. He returned to work with the team's wideouts in 2013, and was eventually promoted to the role of pass-game coordinator in 2016.

Along with Coleman's promotion, offensive line coach Charlie Dickey and quarterbacks coach Collin Klein were named co-coordinators.

"We are fortunate to have three coaches who have had so much experience in our offense - a total of about 30 years - both past and present," Snyder said. "We've been blessed to have so many loyal, caring, and effective coaches over the years, and these three exemplify those values."

Coleman takes over as offensive coordinator from Dana Dimel, who left to become head coach at UTEP in December.
