Texas A&M's 2019 recruiting class took a hit late Tuesday as four-star quarterback Grant Gunnell announced via Twitter that he has decommitted from the Aggies.
The No. 2 quarterback on the 2019 ESPN 300 clarified that Texas A&M will still be one of the schools under consideration, but feels decommitting at this time is the right decision for him. He originally committed to the Aggies on June 5, 2017.
The news comes at an interesting time, as the announcement was made on the same day he received an offer from Ohio State. The 2019 No. 71 overall recruit also holds offers from notable schools such as Georgia, Florida State, Notre Dame, LSU, and Michigan.
