Texas gets 2019 commitment from No. 24 prospect De'Gabriel Floyd

Texas bolstered its 2019 recruiting class Saturday by landing a commitment from four-star linebacker and No. 24 overall prospect De'Gabriel Floyd.

"I love my teammates, love my coaches, love the scheme, love Texas, and I get to wear my number," Floyd said, according to Tom VanHaaren of ESPN.
Floyd is the third prospect from ESPN's top 300 recruits for 2019 to commit to Texas and head coach Tom Herman. The school ranked third in recruiting in 2018.
