High schooler gets 2 scholarship offers after 8 days of playing football
It takes some high school football players years to earn a college scholarship. For Kevin Hester Jr., it was a matter of days.
The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Hester, who's a student at North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Ga., received scholarship offers from Southern Miss on May 12 and Boston College on May 16.

As North Cobb football coach Jesse Lynch revealed on Twitter, Hester only had eight days of football under his belt before he received the offers. He's been playing basketball for far longer, and currently competes for the Atlanta Celtics of the AAU and Adidas Gauntlet Gold division.
