Report: FSU suspends LT Josh Ball after reports of violence by ex-girlfriend
Florida State starting left tackle Josh Ball has been suspended by a university judicial panel after an ex-girlfriend reported that he was violent toward her and others, Ira Schoffel of Warchant.com reports.
The duration of Ball's ban is unknown.
Ball started nine games in 2017 and was expected to keep his starting job for this upcoming campaign.
Sandra Sellers, who says she and Ball dated for around 18 months, reported that Ball physically attacked her on numerous occasions and that she also witnessed him being violent toward others.
Sellers, also a Florida State University student, said Ball slapped her in the face, shoved her to the floor, and caused a cut on her knee in three separate incidents.
Ball was not charged or arrested following Sellers' complaint.
