Four-star linebacker Kane Patterson decommitted from Ohio State on Friday night, a source told cleveland.com's Tim Bielik.
The linebacker's decision comes two days after the Buckeyes suspended both head coach Urban Meyer and athletic director Gene Smith for their handling of domestic violence reports against former assistant coach Zach Smith.
Patterson is the 262nd overall prospect in ESPN's Top 300 list and the sixth-ranked inside linebacker.
