Did Texas A&M just get screwed a little bit or completely, utterly screwed over here? pic.twitter.com/8zEqVSXxFv

With Texas A&M driving for a potential tying touchdown, wide receiver Quartney Davis appeared to fumble the ball out of bounds while angling toward the end zone, a result that would've maintained possession. However, Davis was ruled to have fumbled the ball out of the end zone, resulting in a touchback, and appearing to cement Texas A&M's fate.
Clemson squandered the ensuing possession, however, and punted the ball to the Clemson 49-yard line, where Texas A&M promptly took advantage.

Kellen Mond dropped back in the pocket and evaded contact from an oncoming defender, then threw a strike toward the end zone. The ball ricocheted off a Clemson defender, into the hands of Kendrick Rogers, who corralled the ball in spectacular fashion, cutting the lead to 28-26.
Mond's heroics were all for naught, however, as he failed to complete the two-point conversion.
Clemson lives to fight another day, but they will certainly be weary going forward, having escaped a potentially embarrassing collapse.
