Army almost upset Oklahoma on pay-per-view and people lost their minds
Army nearly orchestrated a monumental upset of Oklahoma on Saturday, but very few people witnessed the No. 5 Sooners need overtime to survive the resilient Black Knights' shocking assault.
That's because the game was on pay-per-view for the not very low price of $54.99. If that sounds crazy to you, you aren't alone.
Oklahoma is on pay-per-view? Is that a thing in college football now?

The only thing more incredible than Army possibly upsetting Oklahoma is that it's 2018 and this game is only available on PPV.

How many tens of people paid for Army-Oklahoma?

Desperate times called for desperate measures, and word circulated on social media that the game was headed to overtime, many fans turned to the live streaming website Twitch.tv to view an illicit stream of the game. Then things got really weird:
The game of the day played out on Twitch.

And it peaked at nearly 32,000 viewers, good for the #2 stream on the entire site. Amazing. pic.twitter.com/ZYotB7CqCZ
My favorite part of this Oklahoma fan's Twitch stream that may or may not be streaming football is him saying "THEY SCARED." About Army. A R M Y.

he later said "wanna see my feet"and panned down to show his feet
It's a shame so few people were able to watch the game, because it was one of the most beautifully bizarre contests this season - or any season:
Per @ryaber, Army hasn't beaten a ranked team since 1972, or a top-10 team since 1963.

Army was actually a little bigger underdog against Oklahoma than Old Dominion was against Virginia Tech. It's Army 21, Oklahoma 21 with 11 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Look at all these tackles. pic.twitter.com/cOmCiBxi0t

Just an absolute gutsy performance from this guy. School-record 28 tackles. Then he shook every service members hand & thanked them. pic.twitter.com/cTisRqtSCA
