Alabama head coach Nick Saban was again named the highest-paid coach in college football in USA Today's annual coaching salary database, taking home a total salary of $8.3 million.
Saban topped last year's list with $11 million, which included a "contract extension signing incentive" of $4 million, according to ESPN.
The five-time national title winner was followed by Ohio State's Urban Meyer ($7.6 million), Michigan's Jim Harbaugh ($7.5 million), and Texas A&M's' Jimbo Fisher ($7.5 million).
The SEC dominated the top 10 with five head coaches, with Auburn's Gus Malzahn ($6.7 million), Georgia's Kirby Smart ($6.6 million), and Florida's Dan Mullen ($6.07 million) joining Saban and Fisher.
