Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh will be a top-three candidate for USC's head coaching vacancy if Clay Helton is fired, Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports.
The Trojans announced Sunday that Helton will be welcomed back in 2019 despite leading the team to just five wins this year.
Harbaugh's future in Baltimore has been a matter of speculation this season; the Ravens are 5-5 and have missed the playoffs three straight years.
Former Oakland Raiders coach Jack Del Rio and Penn State coach James Franklin are believed to be the other potential contenders for the job.
