QB prospect General Booty receives scholarship offer from Hugh Freeze
The player with arguably the greatest name in the 2021 recruiting class has received his first official scholarship offer.
General Booty, who plays quarterback at Cornerstone Christian High School in San Antonio, announced earlier this week that Liberty head coach Hugh Freeze extended an offer to him.

Booty comes from a line of quarterbacks that includes his uncle Joe Ferguson, who played 17 seasons in the NFL, and grandfather Johnny Booty. He drew high praise from former Houston head coach John Jenkins after participating in his showcase - the Coach John Jenkins National Passing Classic - in August.
"He's got size and has huge hands like a first baseman's mitt. He is about to come into his own," Jenkins told Ahmard Vital in a piece for 247 Sports. "This is just a heads up on him. He's going to be a good one. This kid has NFL stamped all over him."
