Alabama's defense has suffered another significant loss.
Defensive lineman LaBryan Ray is out at least six weeks after undergoing foot surgery, head coach Nick Saban said on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Alex Scarborough.
"I'm not saying he's going to be back playing in six weeks. I'm just saying I know he'll be six weeks before he can even start back to doing things. We'll just have to see how he responds," Saban said.
Alabama is already without linebackers Dylan Moses and Joshua McMillon due to injuries, while defensive end and top recruit Antonio Alfano has left the team.
