Isaiah Simmons is going pro.
The Clemson linebacker announced Saturday that he's entering the 2020 NFL Draft, and the 21-year-old is widely expected to be a first-round pick.
A versatile chess piece with experience playing all over the field, Simmons could be among the first defensive players taken.
In theScore's first 2020 mock draft, he's projected to go to the Cleveland Browns with the 10th overall selection.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pounder racked up 104 tackles (16.5 for a loss), eight sacks, and three interceptions in his final collegiate season.
Simmons also helped lead the Tigers to the national championship game in each of the last two campaigns. He recorded a sack and six tackles in Monday's 42-25 loss to LSU.
