Ohio State DT Garrett in stable condition after being shot in face

Ohio State defensive tackle Haskell Garrett was found early Sunday morning with a non-lethal gunshot wound to his face, according to a Columbus police news release obtained by ESPN's Tom VanHaaren.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 12:28 a.m. where they later found Garrett, who was then transported to a local hospital and is now in stable condition, according to the release.
Police said the senior defender suffered a through-and-through gunshot wound in his cheek.
Columbus PD has yet to release additional information on the incident, including possible suspects or motive.
Garrett played in six games last season for the Buckeyes, amassing 10 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.
