Air Force unveils uniforms honoring Tuskegee Airmen
Air Force will pay tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen with special uniforms for its Oct. 3 matchup against Navy.
The uniform includes several nods to the Tuskegee Airmen, who were the first African American military aviators in the U.S. Army Air Corps. The Airmen's P-51 aircraft and squadron patches are featured on the helmet, while the group's Red Tails nickname appears on the back of the jersey.
