Texas A&M's Caleb Chapman likely out for season
Texas A&M wide receiver Caleb Chapman will likely miss the remainder of the 2020 season due to injury, head coach Jimbo Fisher announced, according to The Eagle's Travis L. Brown.
Fisher didn't elaborate on the injury, but Chapman appeared to hurt his knee on a crucial game-tying touchdown catch late in Saturday's win over Florida.
The sophomore receiver finished with a career-high nine receptions for 151 yards and two touchdowns.
The Friendswood, Texas native posted the disheartening news on social media after he learned about the severity of his injury.
Chapman previously suffered a significant knee injury in 2018 that forced him to miss the rest of the season.
The Aggies will look to receivers Demond Demas, Jalen Preston, and Hezekiah Jones to step up in Chapman's absence.
