Freeze marks 22nd FBS head coach to reveal positive COVID-19 test

Liberty's Hugh Freeze became the 22nd FBS head coach to reveal a positive COVID-19 test.
The Flames announced Friday that Freeze is isolating and experiencing mild symptoms. The 51-year-old plans to rejoin the team for bowl preparations next week.

Liberty wrapped up its regular season with a 45-0 dismantling of UMass on Nov. 27, closing the campaign with a 9-1 record. The Flames are 17-6 since Freeze took over the program.
