Burrow: SEC crowds are 'way louder' than any NFL stadium
It doesn't sound like Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow was at all affected by the loud crowd at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday.
In an interview with Peter King of NBC Sports following the Bengals' 41-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens, Burrow explained that his time at LSU helped prepare him for playing on the road in the NFL.
"We knew that they were gonna be jacked up for us to come in, and expecting to beat our ass. But we were ready for it," Burrow said. "Playing in the SEC definitely, definitely helped. Gets way louder in the SEC than in any of these NFL stadiums."
Burrow completed 23 of 38 passes for a career-high 416 yards with three touchdowns and an interception in the win. The Bengals now sit atop the AFC North with a 5-2 record.
