Texas running back Bijan Robinson will miss the remainder of the season with a dislocated elbow, coach Steve Sarkisian said Monday, according to Brian Davis of the Austin American-Statesman.

Robinson, who entered last weekend's game against Kansas with a stinger, left the contest and didn't return after attempting to stiff-arm a defender.

The sophomore tailback was third in the Big 12 with 1,127 rushing yards to go along with 11 touchdowns. Robinson added 26 receptions for 295 yards and four scores.

The Arizona native broke out as a freshman last season, tallying 703 yards and four touchdowns.

Roschon Johnson will likely receive more snaps in Texas' final two games of the season. The 4-6 Longhorns, who are on a five-game losing streak after their overtime defeat to Kansas, need to win against both West Virginia and Kansas State to become bowl eligible.

Texas will face the Mountaineers on Saturday.
