The Mater Dei High School product picked the Trojans over Alabama.
The Santa Ana, California, native is the second-ranked prospect at his position and the top recruit in the state, according to the ESPN 300 rankings.
The No. 6 overall prospect had previously committed to USC before backing off his pledge last month.
New USC coach Lincoln Riley earned another victory on the recruiting trail less than a month after leaving Oklahoma. Jackson now becomes the highest-rated member in the Trojans' 2022 class, joining high school teammate Raleek Brown.
"It was a really tough decision, I'm not going to lie," Jackson said, according to Greg Biggins of 247 Sports. "A few weeks ago, it was done, I was all 'Bama. I was basically a commit there already and had told the coaches I was coming.
"I love coach Saban and (assistant coach Jay Valai) but I like the direction USC is going in now and I'm excited to be a part of that."
Jackson noted there's a different feel within the program since Riley's hire.
"Everyone feels so much more connected and together," he said. "With coach Riley in place, everyone believes the program is going to win and not just win a little but win championships."
Jackson expects to be on USC's campus in time for spring ball, per Biggins.
