Moore won the AAC Defensive Player of the Year award in 2023, racking up 45 tackles with 14 sacks and 17.5 tackles for loss.
The standout pass-rusher had many potential suitors in the transfer portal, as he considered going to Alabama, LSU, and Ohio State before landing on Texas.
Moore spent the previous three seasons with UTSA. He exploded on the scene in 2022, posting eight sacks with 18 tackles for loss in his first campaign as a full-time defensive starter.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pounder will help a Longhorns pass rush that only mustered 2.4 sacks per contest in 2023. Moore joins Houston wide receiver Matthew Golden and Clemson safety Andrew Mukuba as Texas' transfer additions.
