Snoop Dogg to provide NIL deals for all players in Arizona Bowl
Snoop Dogg is ensuring that no player walks away empty-handed from his upcoming bowl game.
The rapper announced Tuesday that the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl presented by Gin & Juice by Dre and Snoop will be the first college football bowl game to offer NIL deals to all players on both teams.
Players aren't required to play in the game to be eligible for an NIL deal but will be expected to travel to Tucson and will likely have to perform community service while in the city, according to Brett McMurphy of Action Network. The amount of compensation has yet to be determined.
"This was 100% Snoop Dogg's idea," Arizona Bowl executive director Kym Adair told McMurphy.
Adair said that Snoop is expected to be involved in the bowl week activities as well as the game, which will be played Dec. 28 at Arizona Stadium.
Last year's Arizona Bowl saw Wyoming defeat Toledo 16-15 on a last-second field goal.
