The No. 1 tight end in the 2025 class, Elyiss Williams, shut down his recruitment and will stay committed to Georgia, he tells Hayes Fawcett of On3.

Williams initially devoted his talents to the Bulldogs in April 2023. However, other schools, including Florida State, Florida, and Tennessee, were reportedly attempting to flip ESPN's No. 29 recruit.

"The talks with Coach Smart and Coach Hartley stood out," Williams said back in April, per Fawcett. "I grew up on the Georgia Bulldogs! I have an opportunity to stay home and be a part of the dynasty, that's a tough decision to deny."

The Georgia native, listed at 6-foot-7, 235 pounds, has unique traits for a tight end. In 2023, he suited up for the Camden County Wildcats and totaled 25 receptions for 530 yards and seven touchdowns.

Georgia has the No. 13-ranked 2025 recruiting class, per ESPN's rankings. It recently nabbed a commitment from Zayden Walker, the No. 15-ranked prospect and the No. 2 outside linebacker in the class.
