Report: Boston College's Castellanos out vs. Western Kentucky
Boston College quarterback Thomas Castellanos will miss Saturday's game against Western Kentucky with an injury, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Castellanos sustained the injury during the Eagles' 23-19 win over Michigan State last weekend, Thamel reports. The severity and nature of his ailment aren't clear.
Grayson James will start under center in place of Castellanos. The junior quarterback spent three seasons at FIU before joining the Eagles this year. He passed for 2,342, 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in 20 games with the Panthers from 2021-23.
Castellanos has completed 45 of 70 attempts for 729 yards, 10 touchdowns, and two interceptions through four games this season. He's also rushed for 112 yards and one score.
Boston College is averaging 32 points and 379.5 total yards per game this campaign.
