(11) UCLA 37, CAL 10: Bruins soak up yards in one-sided win over Bears

The 11th-ranked UCLA Bruins made big gains all night long to cruise to a 37-10 victory over the California Golden Bears.

Here's what you need to know:

  • UCLA set the tone early, building a 137-1 yardage advantage at one point and finishing with a 488-320 edge. The Bruins (5-0, 2-0 Pac-12) finished with advantages in first downs (27-21) and third-down efficiency (7-for-15 versus 4-for-17) and didn't turn the ball over.
  • Bruins quarterback Brett Hundley completed 31-of-41 passes for a career-best 410 yards and three touchdowns. The sophomore has thrown for 1,470 yards with 12 scores and four interceptions on the season.
  • California quarterback Jared Goff was 26-of-43 for 215 yards and an interception. The Golden Bears (1-5, 0-3) outgained UCLA 105-80 on the ground but coughed the ball up twice and committed nine penalties for 87 yards in the loss.
