Alabama HC Nick Saban explains jumping into QB AJ McCarron's arms
Following Saturday's 38-17 win over LSU, Alabama head coach Nick Saban leaped into the arms of quarterback AJ McCarron.

On Sunday, the usual emotionless Saban explained his rare display of joy.
"Look, man, A.J. and I have been through a lot. Some of it you've seen on T.V., and some of it you haven't. He's done a great job for us. There's nobody that I've ever had the opportunity to coach that's more into the game and a better competitor. Yelling at the sidelines, that 'We don't have enough to block that play over there' or 'You need to call this.' 'Check it to that against this look that they're running' or whatever. He's a great competitor. He's into it," Saban said via coachingsearch.com.
