Report: Josh Harvey-Clemons transferring to Louisville

by

Former five-star safety Josh Harvey-Clemons, who was dismissed from Georgia in February for violating team rules, is working on a transfer to Louisville, according to multiple reports.

Harvey-Clemons will reportedly be in town for Friday's spring game, and is expected to enroll in school in May. Due to NCAA regulations, Harvey-Clemons would have to sit out the 2014 season before he would be eligible to play under head coach Bobby Petrino and defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, who held the same position at Georgia.

"He's planning on attending Louisville," Harvey-Clemons' grandfather, Woodrow Clemons, told InsideTheVille.com (subscription link), per the Louisville Courier-Journal. "Louisville made him an offer and he's planning on attending. He'll redshirt this year and have two years of eligibility."

Harvey-Clemons had 66 tackles, one interception, and three fumble recoveries last season as a sophomore.
